This proposal for an experiential sitework recontextualizes this historic site from the perspective of those enslaved there – a quadrant of ephemeral yet forceful artforms that articulate evolving public memory.
Constructed of inscribed polycarbonate and aluminum panels, rusted steel structural forms, and sand-blasted inscriptions on concrete, with uplighting.
